Parkson Group: 1. Assistant Quantity Surveyor

 

Parkson Corporation is hiring,

1. Assistant Quantity Surveyor 

Your jobscope is mainly to assist Quantity Surveyor in controlling all elements of the procurement & projects, end to end from pre-contract to post-contract / project management including but not limited to :

1. Anchoring Preparation Bill of Quantities, whilst carry out value engineering exercises to determine best value available. 

2. Evaluation of final accounts and measurements of variation 

3. Performing administrative work from gathering of data, data entry, filing and updating digital library and documentation related.

4.Be accountable towards achieving the objectives of the procurement and project

5. Assist in the identification of commercial risks and opportunities and as required.

6. Encourage and develop a culture of contractual awareness and ensure that contracts are fulfilled by rigidly maintaining record, contractual notification, change control, etc

7. Coordinate procurement renovation, repairing, upgrade, maintenance, services and facilities systems.

8. Prepare procurement paper on contractor appointment for the department's procurement and other related to contract compliance

9. Execute and manage appointment for procurement and services after the approval of the Approval Committee

10. Prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets and update data and other related documents within department

11. Establish and maintain professional relationship with external and internal stakeholders

12. Others task and duties as instructed by Quantity Surveyor

Core Qualification

1. Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Building Surveying or equivalent qualifications from any local or overseas higher learning institutions recognised by the government of Malaysia

2. High competency in understanding complex documentation, drawing and instruction with IT literacy in understanding user interface in using digital application and software to smoothen project preparation, execution and department administration.

3. Energetic, highly positive attitude, willing to go above and beyond

4. Passionate to involve in Fit-out Project and Store Facilities Maintenance related.

5. Good verbal communication, coordination and organizing skills with ability to work with minimal supervision and liaise effectively and efficiently with other team members within and outside Department.

6. Demonstrate high level of interpersonal skills and integrity
