Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·      Reviewing customer accounts with identified suspicious or unusual activity and determining if escalation or reporting is necessary

·      Monitor queues of customers suspected of committing fraud, rule out false positives and determine when a case needs to be escalated

·      Analyze data, through investigations and inquiries, from multiple sources to identify discrepancies, spot fraud and eliminate suspicions

·      Independently resolves problems, exercising good judgment, that require in depth investigation and/or research

·      Conduct basic investigations of cases requiring extra attention

·      Identify activity and patterns indicative of fraudulent behavior based on manual review and data analysis

·      Write reports, and document evidence, findings and recommendations

·      Interview and elicit information from staff and customers to resolve questions

·      Identify fraud trends and make recommendations for new strategies to prevent additional losses

·      Stays informed of changing fraud patterns or regulations in the field

·      Will be called upon to perform related assigned duties within the department based on experience level

·      Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, speed, innovation, and excellence, while continuously elevating the quality and caliber of controls

·      Builds and maintains relationships between outside departments, cultivating a culture of collaboration, transparency and mutual success

·      Assume responsibility for special projects as assigned by Management

Job Requirements

·      Must be willing to rotate in day and night shifts (7-day week, rotating off days)

·      Fresh graduates of Degree and Diploma are highly encouraged to apply

·      Good command in Bahasa Malaysia and English

·      Resourceful and meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·      Self-driven and a team player with strong interpersonal skills

·      Hold a high level of integrity, passionate about analytical thinking and problem solving

·      Able to work and adapt in a fast pace environment

·      Two years fixed term contract position
