1. Marketing Specialist

a)Work closely with the Head of Marketing of Bureau Veritas South East Asia to support key marketing initiatives across a variety of channels – internal, external, digital, customer events, etc.;

We are looking for local Malaysian candidates for the Plant Independent Engineer position for project to be based in Klang Valley.

Job Responsibilities:

1. To certify that the facility and interconnection facilities:

a) when constructed in accordance with the design drawings, will conform to the project description and design conditions set out in the PPA in all material respects and have the capacity to meet the operational characteristics as set out in the PPA.

b) is technical feasible for the Commercial Operation Date to occur on or before the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date.

c) should have a useful life no shorter than the Term set forth in the PPA. 

d) has been designed, manufactured, supplied, constructed, installed and tested in accordance with the requirements of the PPA, the Grid Code and Prudent Utility Practices.

e) All tests required under the PPA, EPC Contract and in accordance with Prudent Utility Practices have been carried out.

f) Can be safely operated in parallel with the Grid System.

2. Provide necessary certifications prior to COD with respect to Contracted Capacity, interconnection facilities and others as set out in the PPA and Prudent Utility Practices.

3. Certification of achievement of COD as per requirements of the EPC Contract and PPA, including a confirmation that all the conditions for commercial operations under the EPC Contract, PPA, and other relevant contracts (as applicable) have been met.

4. The relevant Interconnection Facilities have been tested and commissioned in accordance with the tests contained in the PPA and the EPC Contract.

5. To review all test procedures and to witness all required tests, ensuring conformance with accepted test procedures as well as relevant engineering codes and practices.

6. Witness, report and certify the results of compliance tests as set out in the PPA, EPC Contract, financing documents and other applicable contracts, including compliance with performance guarantees.

7. To review test report as prepared by the EPC Contractor, confirming that the results of the tests are in accordance with the accepted test procedures in the PPA, Grid Code, and the EPC Contract; and

8. Any other services required of the Independent Engineer as required under the PPA.
