What you'll do:-
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving business growth and innovation? We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Investment Manager to supervise, coach, and manage a talented team of professionals. In this role, you will provide critical guidance, foster collaboration, and help your team navigate complex investment challenges. Your problem-solving expertise will be pivotal in ensuring that each team member successfully executes their responsibilities and contributes to the strategic objectives of the organization.
Investment Monitoring
· To continuously analyse the business and financial performance of Investee Companies.
· To develop earnings model for companies under monitoring in order to forecast earnings and derive valuation, independently.
· To analyse corporate proposals requiring shareholder approval and recommend actions.
· To continuously analyse the industry related to the investee companies to gauge the sustainability or growth potential of the business of investee companies.
· To maintain strong rapport with nominee directors, the management of investee companies, other shareholders, as well as the industry and other relevant parties.
· To attend and vote according to the approved voting mandate at the shareholders’ meetings held by the investee companies.
· To practise shareholders’ activism, corporate stewardship and governance.
· To prepare periodic reports, notes and financial highlights on investee companies and reports for the Management of PNB.
Value Preservation / Enhancement
· To conceptualise and propose value creation plans to strengthen the overall position of the investee companies.
· To collaborate with management of investee companies, other shareholders and relevant parties in order to explore any possible opportunities for the purpose of value preservation or enhancement.
· To assist in initiating value creation plans and recommend appropriate corporate exercises which include but not limited to additional investment, divestment, capital restructuring and M&A.
· To develop transactional earnings model independently should there be any potential transactional value creation initiatives.
What you’ll bring with you:
· Bachelor's degree in in Accounting / Finance / Investment / Economics / Law or any related discipline.
· Minimum of 6 years’ working experience in the related field
· Demonstrates strong leadership skills
· Good knowledge and understanding of Investment and Business Analysis, Corporate Management, Corporate Finance, Economics and etc.
· Ability to create comprehensive and clear business report
· Strong attention to details to ensure accuracy and clarity in reports
Strong communication skills with ability to interact confidently at all level.
Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
